Just had a Chanel kick going on today, so I thought I'd show you all what I wore featuring the new releases from the brand.

Jazzy Blues
Here's a quick look I put together this morning before church using the Urban Decay Vice Palette (review here). It's nothing special, but I just wanted to show y'all how pigmented and amazing the colors look on the lids!

Gotta love my Turquoise and Teals
Happy Labor Day everyone! I was pretty bored today bc I decided not to do anything special, so I just came up with this eye look. It's nothing special, but it photographed really well (except for how the outer corners aren't so dark as they were in person), so I thought I'd show my readers and IG friends what I came up with.
Styleseeker Inspired
Urban Decay Half Baked on lids, Smog on lower lash line, Virgin on browbone
TheBalm Sexy and Serious on crease
MAC Hidden Treasure blush on as transition color

Mossy Green
As promised, here's an eyeshadow look with using all of the Maybelline Color Tattoos Fall 2012 collection line:
I used 100 Barely Beige on my inner tear duct, 200 Mossy Green on the lid area, 300 Gold Shimmer feathered up on my crease area, and 400 Rich Mahogany on my lower lash line as a liner.
Hope you all like it!

Love Power
Hey everyone! I have another makeup look for you guys! I have been wanting to use another Electric Cool e/s from MAC and incorporate it into a look, so here it is! I mentioned that I did want to pick up another e/s from this collection, and I ended up getting Love Power. I wanted Dynamo initially, but I was disappointed when I found out that it was a corally pink. I wanted it to be more orange.
So here's a really subtle pinky smokey eye that you can totally wear for a night out!

Fashion Circuit Look
Today, I went to The Grove in LA today mainly to check out the Zara and Nordstrom sales. I got a lot of good deals from Zara today (mostly got work-appropriate clothes) and I honestly wanted to get more things, but I had to stop myself! But I do know I will be back soon to pick up more things for myself and the boo. Little did I know that I will get sucked into buying loads of makeup from MAC once again. Surprise, surprise
I did plan on buying the new Fall collection blush and another blush from the Fleur de Lotus collection from Chanel, but after my MAC purchase, it wasn't meant to be in my budget. :( Womps. It made me sad because I swatched the 2 blushes and they were both so pretty!!!

Business Casual + Makeup Look
So I haven't really been posting any outfit looks lately because of work. All I've been sporting are business casual and corporate wear, and pre-shopping, all I have are neutrals, blacks, greys and whites for clothes, which seem so bland and boring. Anyway, here's an outfit that I would wear to work (even though I wore it at church on a Sunday).

Ombre Lips
Hi everyone! I know it feels like I've abandoned my blog, but it's just been so hectic the past 2 weeks for me! I just recently start my new job the past week and I have been so tired! I wake up at 4:30am every single day and my hours start from 6:30am to 4:30pm, which doesn't sound so bad, but I just think I'm not used to the early hours just yet. But I am really excited about this job because all my coworkers are so nice and friendly! They're all so helpful and I feel like I am going to learn loads from this job! It's my first REAL big girl job (I really don't consider my previous job a real job bc it was technically slavery, HAHAHA) and I am so stoked to see what's in store for me in this big corporate company.
Anyway, I have a lip look for you all. Since nowadays I really don't want to put a lot of effort onto my eye makeup, I have just been doing winged liner on my eyes. I've always been a fan of having a pop of color on my face, so I tried this ombre lip makeup look!

8th Grade Promotion Makeup Looks
Hey everyone! So these two adorable 8th graders from my small group at church asked me to do their makeup for them. I know I got my makeup done at a salon for my 8th grade promotion, but I didn't even know ANYTHING about makeup back then (that was 10 years ago!). And these girls knew more about makeup than I did at their age. Of course I couldn't say no because (1) it's more practice for me to do makeup on other people, (2) they're my babies in Bible study and (3) it's good for my portfolio. Anyway, here is what I came up with for their promotion makeup (yes, it's not a graduation, lol).

Orange Prom Makeup Look
It's prom season again. Since I am a pretty new makeup artist, it is a toughie to really get your name out there. A really good friend of mine went to her prom this past weekend, and given her busy schedule with work and school, setting up an appointment at a MAC or makeup counter at the mall was out of reach for her. Plus, it was out of her budget since most counters (probably all counters) require you to purchase a certain $ amount of products.
Anyway, here is the look I came up with for her.

Rainbow Peacock (Inspired by Vegas_Nay)
One of my fellow Instagramers, and probably one of my favorites, Naomi, aka vegas_nay (yea we have the coolest name ever!), posted an eye look that really mesmerized me. I adore all her eye looks and how flawless and well-blended her shadows are, but this was just AH! I normally tend to go for more subtle color eye looks or neutral looks with a pop of color on the lips or on the liner.
Anyways, I told her I wanted to recreate this look, and I guess this is my take on it.

Shop Till You Drop
Hi readers!!! Been a while since I posted on my blog! I've been kind of lazy with putting on makeup and dressing up for my blog since I've been busy going to the gym and job hunting. Anyways, here's a look I came up with yesterday with my Shop and Drop quad from MAC! Hope you enjoy!

What Rhymes with Orange
Happy Saturday everyone!! I am finally posting a make-up look for you all! It's bad quality since I took it with my iPhone front camera, but I just couldn't put the camera down for some reason! For all you long-time Instagramers, it's kind of a growing obsession to document everything on your phone onto IG (btw, find me on ig: naohms)! Anyways, I will start to post more looks and take them with my trusty DSLR.
the only picture taken with my back camera ;)
